Our flight computers navigate our airborne lab during #coral and water quality monitoring in #Hawaii ASU GDCS ASU Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory Arizona State University Research DLNR NOAA Coral Program Greg Asner

In Hilo, Hawaii today! Our airborne laboratory will be on display alongside lots of other cool planes! @asu_gdcs ASU Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory

The first chapter of my dissertation is out! Looking at the spectral sensitivity of benthic community shifts of Hawaiian reefs. This will help us delineate reef communities for targeted restoration efforts in West Hawaiʻi. authors.elsevier.com/a/1ie3o7qzT3DbY ASU GDCS Asner Lab Dr. Julia K. Baum

The NASA #PANGEA scoping is in full swing! Thanks Land-Cover & Land-Use Change (LCLUC) Program for the opportunity to present at the Science Team Meeting. Next is our hybrid workshop AGU (American Geophysical Union) in DC. Then off to European Geosciences Union for a Town Hall w the European community. Join us! #climatechange #tropicalforests

We Allen Coral Atlas, powered by ASU are monitoring coral bleaching from space. The maps here show, in green outlines, where we detect bleaching. These maps are changing fast with each update. Log in and zoom in these green outlines to see the details at 10 m resolution.

Big congrats to Dominica Harrison on receiving a Graduate Fellowship from International Coral Reef Society - International Coral Reef Society! This fellowship will support Dominica's ongoing research in West Hawaii.
