We heard a great talk on Chemputation from Prof. Lee Cronin during #OSAP22! #Reproducibility in wet labs can be achieved by automatizing chemical processes 👩🔬🧪 #OpenScience

Join us at #OSAP22 to learn more about UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳 Recommendation on #OpenScience! We are listening to Dr. Ezra Clark's talk about the global need to take concrete measures on Open Access and Open Data. osambassadors.mpdl.mpg.de Max Planck Digital Library Max Planck Society

What an inspiring week in Vienna! Had a great time at #EGU22 presenting some of the work I’ve been doing for my PhD at Max Planck Institute for Chemistry with Thomas Berkemeier

🥳Environmental Science Journals of the RSC just published our most recent study on the health effects of air pollutants, which we pursued during Eleni Dovrou's postdoc in my group! #AtmosChem #AirPollution pubs.rsc.org/en/Content/Art… I am particularly proud and excited about this project 😊 Why? Read the🧵below! ⬇️

📢New paper from the group, Ashmi Mishra et al. in Environmental Science & Technology Journals!🥳 (1/2) We expanded our model KM-SUB-ELF 2.0 to investigate the chemical pathways by which #AirPollution modifies proteins in the lungs 🫁. We found that PM2.5 and NO2 act synergistically to form nitrotyrosine.

🗣️ Patrick Cramer Patrick Cramer just shared his insights on #OpenScience and what we as MPG can do to advance open science! #OpenScienceMeeting2023 🔓

Why are people with inflammatory disorders more susceptible to #airpollution? We investigated chemical pathways involving the inflammation marker nitric oxide in our new paper in Environmental Science & Technology Journals and find increased production of OH radicals in the lung pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
