What an amazing Performing Arts London residential we have had this year!! We saw three West End shows, took part in a MT workshop at Pineapple Dance Studios, did a backstage tour of the National Theatre and managed to cram in plenty of sightseeing/shopping too! #Ashfield #LDN

On Friday 10 members of the Eco - committee braved the heat to complete our final litter pick of the year. We gathered 8 bags of rubbish from Sutton Road throughout the day! We will continue this work in September to support our local community. Eco-Schools England

A huge congratulations to our TTCT Art Competition finalists!! We were blown away by the level of talent we had representing Ashfield!! A special shout out also goes to Cordelia and Abigail who won for Year 8 and 9 across the whole Trust!! So proud of you! 🎨🌟

We were very fortunate that a former student who now attends one of the country’s leading drama schools, came in to run a workshop for our Performing Arts cohort! The workshop was brilliant and his advice about auditions/getting the most out of drama school was really useful. 🎭

Year 10 were challenged to produce Choux paste and present a Choux ring or gateau St honore! They needed to make the choux paste, pipe, make the caramel and present a dessert displaying complex skills of sugar work! Amazing skills displayed here! Well done! 👏

It’s Instant Reward week at Ashfield!! This week we are rewarding students with Ice Lollies for positive work ethic and attitudes to learning! Congratulations to everyone who have been awarded a Ticket so far!! 🌟

This week our Year 10 Sports Leaders have been at Wainwright Primary Academy! The girls have represented the school impeccably when delivering a day of Rounders and Multiskills sports sessions to a range of age groups! Congratulations girls!!🌟👏

What a wonderful evening we had last night, celebrating the students who have gone above and beyond all year! A special mention to our returning Year 11 student Harlow for her stunning performance!!! And to Kris Commons the footballing legend for his inspirational speech!!

Today students visited a local nursing home to share creative writing pieces developed during this year’s World Book Week. The residents thoroughly enjoyed listening to their stories and students loved the opportunity to connect with members of the community!!

Today we had a special delivery from Beeston Brownies company to reward our amazing staff for all their hard work this year!! They were delicious… the queue was out the door!!! 💛

Tomorrow the Octagon will be open from 8am until 12pm!! A team of staff will be ready to welcome you and hand out your results! Year 12 students may collect results from 9:30am until 12pm. Good Luck everyone!!
