As part of our autumn topic about ourselves we have been looking at portraits. Today we had a visit from Neil Slater, caricaturist. Neil talked to us about being a caricaturist and then drew all the hedgehogs! We had such a fun afternoon and learnt so much. #BGArt #BGEYFS

We then paid our respects to the armed forces by taking part in Remembrance Day by reading stories, observing a moments silence and making our own poppies #BGEarlyYears #BGExtra

This term, forces is our science topic, and this week we looked at the question, What is gravity? We measured the weight of several items in the classroom using a Newton meter!

We had such a brilliant #BGMusic workshop today with MEG from MEG 🎶 we loved exploring pitch and dynamic through using our voices, and we haven’t stopped singing the ‘bumblebee tuna’ song! 🐇

The bear in our story this week needed biscuits to take on a trip to the moon. Fox Cubs were very happy to help bake! We showed great turn taking, measuring and patience. #BGEYFS

‘Stickman is lonely, Stickman is lost, Stickman is frozen and covered with frost.’ We explored liquids, solids, freezing and melting to help Stickman escape from the ice! #BGEYFS

This week, we had a great time planting bulbs on Burton Green. Seeing everyone work as a team was amazing! We can't wait to see the flowers in spring! #BGExtra #BGForestSchool
