A lot of talk abt Latinos voting Trump (by non-rep scholars). But they supported him more in 2020 than 2016. Few said anything bc Biden won. Harris is below Biden’s 81mil while Trump may hit his 74 from 2020. Harris lost bc ppl stayed home & didn’t vote for her. Not bc of Latinos

Statistical/publication question: do people not use one-tailed tests for directional hypotheses?? Does it matter if the direction of the hypothesis is derived from earlier study (to be reported in the same paper) with two-directional hypotheses?
