Payload CMS is currently implemented as an express app which can run Next.js in a custom server alongside. The new beta has a much simpler architecture: it runs entirely in Next.js, which means it's super easy to deploy. I gave it a go and wrote it up.

Remix doesn't have an image component and that's good actually.
I've written a guide showing how you can easily serve great images with Remix, and it's better than using most framework-specific components. Long time listeners can probably guess how.

I emptied my brain of everything related to caches and Astro and put it in this guide. It goes deeper than you ever thought you needed on cache headers, cache tags, ISR, on-demand revalidation and more. Includes bonus Contentful webhooks content too. πŸš€

If you liked the Netlify 'why did it fail' AI tool you may like to come along to our AI event where Matt Biilmann will have the 🌢️ takes. There will be some previews of the other 'not another chatbot' stuff we have coming. netlify.com/compose/web-ai/

A couple of weeks ago I asked if there was a 'Can I Use' for non-web runtimes. Well, now there is. This has been a great collaboration project. It's early days and there are errors in it, but I think this will be very useful as a reference and motivation.
