It was a great honour to have the UNESCO Country Representative to Ghana - Mr. Abdourahame Diallo joined the Executive Director of GMMB and the Ambassador of France to Ghana for the commissioning of a set of Akom drums at the Abirem Subunu ATB during the Awukudae festival.

Thanks to the Ambassador of France to Ghana - Madam Anne Sophie Ave Anne Sophie (Akosua) Avé, the state of conservation/preservation of both tangible and intangible elements of the Asante Traditional Buildings have been improved. Thanks so much for all the support. #Awukudaefestival

We were very privileged to have a high profiled person like Prof. Bénédict Savoy at the Awukudae festival. The Professor was appointed as consulting expert to French President Emmanuel Macron with view to the repatriation of African artefacts held in French state museums.
