Israel's recent bombing and offensive in Rafah is deplorable and a grave violation of international law and human rights. Pakistan condemns these acts of violence against innocent Palestinians and calls for an immediate ceasefire. The world cannot afford to look away.

Building religious frenzy (inaugurating Hindu temple, claiming more mosques built on Hindu temples, attacking Muslim properties) all part of BJP/Modi’s playbook in an election year. Only missing element so far is escalation with Pakistan. Keeping fingers crossed.

Terminating UNRWA funding now is heartless & utterly callous if aimed at further pressurising stricken Palestinians. It is certainly audacious coming in on the heels of ICJ ruling. OIC, rich Muslim countries & God fearing individuals should come forward to bridge funding gap.

UN must consider building a memorial to honour UN employees who lost their lives while providing humanitarian assistance in Gaza. A similar memorial by IFJ in Brussels would be a great tribute to brave journalists who lost their lives in Gaza in line of duty. United Nations IFJ

International law doesn't recognize India’s unilateral and illegal actions of 5 August 2019. The judicial endorsement by the Indian Supreme Court has no legal value. Kashmiris have an inalienable right to self determination in accordance with the relevant UN SC resolutions.

Growing Palestinian casualties in second round in Gaza clearly show that Isreal is paying no heed to anyone including its most ardent supporters benefactors & apologists. Israeli insistence on pursuing Hamas “anywhere” would certainly lead to expanding the theatre of war.
