Today I was with the Duchess of Gloucester who opened & toured the new Heart and Lung Research Institute - a world leading collaboration between Royal Papworth Hospital NHS FT 💙 Cambridge University Cambridge University Hospitals NHS & the #biomed community to positively transform the cardiovascular and lung disease landscape.

🏗From groundbreaking two-and-a-half years ago to official opening yesterday, this is our new Heart and Lung Research Institute with Cambridge University. Excited for the future of HLRI to improve prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung diseases globally 🫀🫁🌍.
