With Kamola Makhmudova's passing, all of us lost an amazing friend, a very kind soul, and a beautiful person. She will always be remembered for her strength and for the joy and smiles she shared with everyone around. My sincere condolences to her family. ALLAH RƏHMƏT ELƏSİN!

This week I’ve read lots of eulogies for my friend Kamola Makhmudova. Most of them focus on her many achievements, which is understandable because she was brilliant. But what I’ll always remember are her smile, warmth, & sense of fun. The world was a more vivacious place with her in it.
