5th grade students are absolutely rocking their fall pumpkins. They’re layering using crayons to show value representing light and shade.

Fall = leaf printing 🍂🍃with 3rd grade! They were so excited to use paint and every single time I lifted the leaf to demo, I received a round of applause! 👏🏼🤣 Best. Job. Ever.

4th grade students learned about contemporary artist Lourdes Villagomez this week and created their own abstract spirit animals using a lot of shape and color.

The first couple of days of art class has been amazing! Thirdies started off their year with our traditional “getting to know you” 3D paper sculptures!

“Remember my name and you add to my feeling of importance.” In 4th grade, we talked about the importance of our name and that we deserve the respect that it is pronounced correctly. Then we made beautiful art with our whole names. 🎨☺️✊🏼
