Do you feature wildlife in your artwork? #ArtTechChat

ArtTechChat Yes often. I have large series of drawings of ants, caterpillars, maggots & murmurations & much else. & my sculptures, paintings & installations are based on these drawings. One of the greatest inspirations for me. #ArtTechChat

Where do you go to be inspired by wildlife? #ArtTechChat

ArtTechChat Nowhere in particular, but everywhere. It's all around us wherever we go. I have to admit though, I also have lots of books which I also use as a reference & for ideas. #ArtTechChat

ArtTechChat I love hearing the bird song in the early morning - a great start to the day for me. #ArtTechChat

ArtTechChat I often think that wildlife seeks the best, strongest & most reliable ways to do things. They also live in harmony with the planet as long as humans don't get involved in their habits. We have a lot to learn from other creatures. #ArtTechChat

Evolutionary biology is like an ultimate and unforgiving marketplace of ideas. Many technical problems have parallels in nature so studying wildlife and observing how it does things is a good source of inspiration for technical systems. #ArtTechChat

ArtTechChat I know that's not really answering the question, but the ways in which wildlife can help us, depend on the situation & what is trying to be achieved. But I would say it's often going to be advantageous to observe wildlife to solve things. #ArtTechChat
