‘I’ve lost friends’ — is antisemitism rising in the arts? A troubling new survey captures the experience of Jews working in Britain’s cultural sector. Here, four of those affected talk about the impact of October 7 thetimes.com/culture/art/ar…

A new survey exposed the extent of antisemitism in Britain’s cultural scene, and how Jews are being increasingly marginalized by a community that supposedly celebrates inclusion. AAAUK reported that artists are hiding their Judaism to avoid abuse or their events being threatened

Do you work in the arts in the UK? Then tell Freedom_In_The_Arts what you think. We want to know everything about your experience of freedom of expression. We ask if anything has changed, for better or worse in the arts in the past 5 years. This is where you can tell us exactly

Do you work with your people and the arts? We are particularly looking for survey information on how you view your sector. All responses are anonymous unless you give us your name and email address at the end. This information will be held confidentially.

Honestly, the amount of cancellations I’m trying to help support and deal with in the arts, I’m seriously wondering who on earth is left working? Audiences should start asking difficult questions. This is an actual conspiracy to remove talent.

Jenny Lindsay Thank you Jenny. It’s like a horror film- invasion of the body snatchers, or the lives of others. A once fantastic, free, vibrant and creative scene is on its knees. But more and more artists aren’t just willing to speak to me- they’re willing to go public and speak to everyone.

Rosie Kay I'm finding that too!! Alongside the ridiculous levels of fear. Those who actually remember it not being like this are increasingly finding their courage. Lordy me, it's taken some time, but I am glad of it.
