The recent monkey paw news of Mechwarrior 2 made me go back to the PC versions. Here's DOS vs Titanium of 'Pyre Light' and you lose so much with the 3D accelerated one: Fog, skybox, day/night cycle, 1024x768 res. DOS is visually superior and is more like a Doug Chaffee painting.
