Councilman Brinker Harding, who ran unopposed, is currently praising Stothert and the streetcar project, crediting her actions, as well as the city council's actions, leading to Forbes ranking Omaha as the best place to move to in their 2024 list.

I talked to Steve Fulton, someone who has worked with the Stothert campaign since 2013. He believes that she can pull through, and that he has supported because he "believes in the way she's run the city. I think she's done a very good job over the years."

Stothert has conceded the election. She says she "hopes the progress that has been made will continue". She thanked her family, and congratulated the city council member, Don Rowe, Aimee Melton, and Brinker Harding for their victories.
