Another perspective on the green corridor that is the #roseburncyclepath 'we simply can't lose this green corridor. We can't.' #tramproposaledinburgh Cllr Scott Arthur 🌍🌈🌹
Very unsettled by Cllr Scott Arthur 🌍🌈🌹's proposal removing 2km of favourite cycle path in Edinburgh. I use this path EVERY DAY on foot or on bike and love the peace and quiet offered by the vehicle- free route to Haymarket from Granton. Council meeting TODAY to decide. Email yours!
Delighted to be included in this feminist exhibition Women's Work is Never Done, curated by #catherinedezegher on at the #richardsaltoungallery London until 24/1/24 with short #keepersofthesoil film made on Coll celebrating our precious #peatbogs and biodiversity.
I just endorsed the campaign for a #FossilFuelTreaty — calling for a new international mechanism to manage a global just transition.

🐝🦋Second year of #scranfirbees is showing more plant species and plenty of flowers for our bees, butterflies hover flies, ladybirds etc. So nice to see them again after noticing how few there are around 🥲🐝🦋

As we say goodbye to 'Living Soil', we want to thank Natalie Taylor Artist, our volunteers & staff.🤎
This photo series celebrates soil & people who care for it. Taylor invited Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh staff & volunteers to wear the Keepers of the Soil cape & share their relationships with soil.🥔🚜
🪱🦠Make sure you don't miss the final weekend of #livingsoil . 🦠🪱
Huge thanks to the amazing team at RBGE Creative Programmes who supported four blissful months of research, development and making in the incomparable #inverleithhouse . What a treat! Results still open.
So good to know this show has inspired folks to write creatively 😀💚 Hopefully about soil with Dr Helen Boden @helenboden.bsky.social
Living Soil at RBGE John Hope Gateway finishes on Sunday.
What will #futurefoods look like if global soils are so depleted that we must grow our food- 95% of which relies on it- by other means? Best case scenario may be #regenerativeag otherwise it's #hydroponics or sea based foods such as #seaweed or even #insects !
Walking barefooted in the RBGE Creative Programmes gardens whilst imagining the #woodwideweb with Hannah Imlach ecoartscotland+ others today was a memorable moment. This #Art + #Ecology cafe explored hidden microscopic lives + #futurefood scenarios including #insectprotein + #seaweed
Totally excited to take part in the 2nd Art and Ecology Cafe Fertile Lands tmmw hosted by RBGE Creative Programmes , Hannah Imlach, ecoartscotland Anna Floramedica and RBGE staff. Also speculate on food availability in an imagined 2033 and taste 'beyond' meat, crickets and regenerative veg
Stuffing wildflower seed packets for North Edinburgh Community Festival tomorrow on behalf of Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre . See you there at our stall!
