Just had a chat with a friend. He can't do his passion because it pays crap money, and he wouldn't be able to support his family. His current job pays ok, but he's not happy there. I told him to follow his passion, and money will come. What would you say?

Two AWS certificates, a new job and more experience in 2019. Happy for all of them! My goal for 2020 is at least three new certificates and a body transformation. Let's start it!

I mentioned the name of Bill G. a few times yesterday. I use WSL in Windows 10 and spent a few hours debugging an npm install and ruby gem install error. I turned out that I should have closed VSCode. Everything worked fine then.🤷‍♂️

I can't make cfn-init work, so I went running instead. Now with my brain filled with oxygen, I might get better at google-ing the answer.

My exam preparation strategy is to take a practice exam and then focus on the weaknesses. Then repeat the process until I'm happy with the outcome. What is your strategy?

Learning new things is fun. Failure might feels bad at first but then it will lead to something better if I have the willingness to learn. I hope this won't change in the future. 😁

I started using the Leitner box a few weeks ago to learn new #AWS and #NodeJS concepts. It works well for hardening cloud and coding concepts too, not just learning words and expressions for another language. I wish I had that solution back then 🤔

Why is that I start a two-hour coding task and it will eventually take two days. Something almost always comes up, it's not working as expected etc. Is it just me?

I realized that when I hate doing something, it's mostly because I'm not good enough at that thing. But after I learned how to do it properly, I almost always started to like it. Pushups, pullups, git, writing tests, playing the guitar etc. It works!

I can't count on my hands how many times I've messed up a CloudFormation stack. The Stack Refactor feature seems like it was implemented just for me. 😄 You can now move resources from one stack to another, and you can also rename them. aws.amazon.com/blogs/devops/i…
