STORM, our 1st ever GPS-#Spoonbill to travel via the UK, eventually made her way from Poole Birds of Poole Harbour to Sanlúcar la Mayor in Andalusia. She's been using two small lakes since Sept 17. Today, researchers Jos and Delip managed to see STORM in good shape among 150 Spoonbills!

Looking at Kirk's predicted trajectory, it looks like many of the young Global Flyway Network #Spoonbills will experience their first major autumn storm along Europe's Atlantic seaboard next week. Not a trivial challenge, that may prove too much for some. We'll be monitoring it closely!

STORM is living up her name, as she has now reached the #Senegal delta after leaving southern Spain, with stops in Mauritania, first in Baie d'Arguin in Parc National du Banc d'Arguin - PNBA and then in Parc National du Diawling!
