An arts education is essential to the whole of education. Art heals. Art inspires. Art engages. It shapes our thinking, and it moves us to action. Raising the bar in education must include the arts.

In July, we received the invitation for the BMS choir to perform at the 2023 GMEA conference. Shortly there after, school began and our students got to work preparing for this event. Please come out and support these amazing kids at one of our two performances next week!

Got notified this morning my choir will be a recipient of the FACE grant from GA Dept of Education Fine Arts ! So thankful for grants like this one as we build a choir program from scratch!

Outrageously proud of our Northgate kiddos for an amazing day yesterday. At the school by 6:45AM, a strong prelims performance that earned them the chance to do it again even better in finals, and their best performance yet last night. Looking forward to finishing strong!!

So proud of these four amazing students for passing their second round All State auditions this week! They have been working before and after school as well as in their free time since August to get prepared for these auditions. Their dedication paid off, Athens here they come!
