Phragmifiltre wetlands have no pre-settlement. The raw sewage is pumped onto the first stage reed beds, where it dewaters and mineralises, with storage capacity >10 years, thereby reducing costs of transportation and further treatment of sludge effluent. youtu.be/HU5ZKbqiq2w
