When Snoopy, my dog of 14 years, passed away, I started volunteering at my local dog shelters Marin Humane Pets In Need & food bank San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. And let me just say, there's nothing better to get you out of your head & into your heart than volunteering in your community.

Every soul—both dog and human—that I’ve met at Marin Humane is amazing! Here are some of the sweet adoptable souls currently there. I would adopt them all if I could. Since I can’t, I thought I’d post about them, and let you enjoy their cuteness. Feel free to spread the word!

Meet Luna & Banjo! Two sweet adoptable pups at Marin Humane. Luna is a Malinois who is shy but with love & patience turns into a lovable goofball. Banjo has a sweet grumbling noise that he makes when happy that’s adorable. He welcomes visitors with open paws #adoptdontshop

The best thing I’m doing right now is volunteering at Marin Humane. I get to give the shelter dogs treats and hang out with them. There is nothing better. Here are some photos of my time with sweethearts: Luna, Mindy, and Banjo. #adoptdontshop #doglove
