The Kenchanmane-Raju Lab had a fantastic time at #Botany2025 🌱 Cool talks, collaborator meetings, new ideas… all we need is more $💵 So we headed straight to the funding gods (a.k.a. the casino) — because if we can't win over reviewers at NSF, NIH, maybe we can win over roulette🎲

How do predatory wasps find their caterpillar prey? In our new preprint on Biorxiv we show that the host plant's immune system detects herbivory to sound the alarm. 🌱🐛 See thread from Natalia Guayazan Palacios -- a surprising role for a plant PRR in indirect defense against herbivores.

Very proud to share our latest preprint: postdoc/LRSF fellow Yue Rui studies the mechanisms regulating attachment of the cell wall to the plasma membrane. The Cellulose Synthase Complex and REMORINs determine attachment and root osmotic stress tolerance. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

I am working on Jessica's paper and she used Fred Sack's old confocal for some imaging. I was looking back some of Fred's previous papers. So many impressive articles from Fred! scholar.google.co.kr/citations?user…
