The events of the last nine months have made it crystal clear what the NYT means by the term "antisemitism" here—Corbyn's persistent belief that Palestinians are fully human, which Starmer has indeed "rooted out", with the same subtlety as the cops deployed at Columbia and UCLA.

Labour projected to win landslide with a smaller share of the vote than Labour lost with in 2017. A sandcastle majority: a change in the tide and it goes.

Labour wasted masses of resources fighting the greens in Brighton and Bristol when they could have been resisting the rise of fascist Reform. When people tell you who they are, believe them.

There have been 4 pro-Gaza Independent candidates elected so far. The same number as Reform MPs. That's big and totally unexpected. It deserves coverage and analysis.

France’s extraordinary election results provide an urgent, valuable lesson. Don’t concede ground to those who sow division and fear. Build a bold Left movement that offers an alternative of inclusion and hope. That is how you defeat the far right.

Both of the actions you see in these photos potentially amount to the offence of ‘public nuisance’. One is punishable with “long, long prison sentences” & the other is rewarded with huge bonuses & billions in profits. Why the disparity? What does this mean for the rule of law?

It's hard to think of any greater direct threat to international peace and security under the UN Security Council mandate than a state actually declaring UN institutions terrorists and thus killable targets. Absolute shambles.

Aser and Aysal, twins born four days ago, were killed this morning in an Israeli airstrike, along with their mother Dr. Jumana, east of Deir al-Balah. The father was out of the house preparing their birth certificates, he returned home to find that his family is no longer there.
