Headed home after my first #SEW APDS surgery. An incredible week learning, meeting new people, catching up with friends and mentors, and sharing our amazing research #DOProud National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners

I RECEIVED MY VERY FIRST ASE coin of Recognition from the ✨ incoming president (!!) Dr.Aimee Gardner ✨ & one of the most inspiring people I met this week. So grateful. So honored. So fired up. See you in Atlanta for #ASE2026 🔥

Closing out #SEW2025 - such a fun week with the Collaboration of Surgical Education Fellows and General Surgery Residency at WashU Medicine 🥳🥰

Our children understand and appreciate the sacrifices we make as WomenSurgeons—the long hours spent helping others, the moments we’ve missed at home. They carry grace and forgiveness in their hearts, knowing our absences were acts of service and love. WomenInThoracicSurg

Had an excellent time at #ASCO2025 presenting our work comparing patterns in presentation, treatment, and survival between male and female breast cancer in the Veterans Health 🤩 Honored to have received the Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation Merit award to support my attendance ☺️

Great job Ariana Naaseh, MD, MPHS with your poster on male and female breast cancer in the Veterans Affairs that included over 2000 men and 13000 women. Shows men are older when diagnosed and have more advanced disease with shorter survival. Great collaboration of SLU Medicine and General Surgery Residency at WashU Medicine
