So there is this drama going on,on booktok about booktok reader’s defending the reading of books on pirate sites! Some of them even had The nerves to tell authors that they had no business to be talking about this and call the authors who complained entitled and selfish!

do these booktok readers even understand the amount of money indie authors invest to produce their books? For them to open their mouth and call the authors entitled and author entitlement like what? Are these people serious? There was this one girl who made an entire video

On tiktok trying to justify her reading books on pirate sites and buying and returning indie authors books after she read them! I was disgusted! I seriously believe a more stricter law need to be implemented to stop the buying of books and then returning them!

What’s the point in buying, reading the book and than has the audacity to go back returning the books demanding your money back? It’s like you going to an restaurant eat their food,after you are done walk out without paying! What’s these people are doing is It’s stealing!

and it’s disgusting! How some of them even has the nerve to justify their bullshit is jaw dropping!

What’s bothered me from her videos and many other book tok readers videos is that she called the authors complaining entitled and said that they complaining was authors entitled! Like she was actually saying that authors should say nothing and continue losing money!

This girl clearly think that indie authors shouldn’t be paid for their work! That’s it’s okay to buy a book read the damn thing and than returning the book totally disregarding the fact that with her actions she is taking money away from the indie authors!

And the most disgusting thing from her videos is that she’s doing that only with indie authors! Traditional authors she happily keep their books on her shelf’s! I really don’t understand how people who do shit like this can sleep at night!

So everyone is in the bridgeton fever going crazy over the series but my self can’t swallow the show because I know that the entire cast characters in the books are white people! the show is completely different than the books! And when it comes to realistic

I like for the shows that I like to be as close to the book series they are based of as possible! Even though the costumes and everything looks amazing I just can’t swallow it! Especially not the part we’re Daphne’s raped a man and is allowed to have an happy ending!

So I have been writing my very first novel and my brain is being invaded with stories after stories, I have so many ideas for stories it’s ridiculous! I am so inspired that I am currently writing 3 stories at the same time!
