The most important role of religions is alignment of a large number of agents (humans) in a multi-agent system (civilisation).

While many people complain AI is gonna make us stupid all I see we're gonna have at least some superhumans. Smart and ambitious 14-18 y-olds who can talk through any concept with LLM as a personal tutor with encoded all civilisation knowledge? Leonardo da Vinci level polymaths.

It's tempting to fantasise about spec-driven software. "It's just a new layer of abstraction, AI will handle the implementation" The problem is that all previous abstraction layers were 100% deterministic. Python is as predictable as asm. Text-based spec is not.

I think we're gonna see a huge productivity jump, it'll just take longer. Tech develops way faster than real-world application. And imagination develops way faster than tech. Before dot-com bubble people got the future right, and yet it crashed anyway.
