India may beat Bangladesh in the SAFF final with Ryan Williams, but they still can’t grow beyond the SAFF level. All investment went into inflated salaries, not the development. Today’s result meant nothing. They fumbled the Afghanistan game & the Asian Cup chance long ago.

Indian football’s downfall isn’t a mystery. We ignore actual game quality and obsess over gimmicks—broadcast graphics, fancy studio shows, and hype. Until fans stop the hypocrisy and start demanding real footballing standards, nothing will change. #IndianFootball #FixTheGame

How many fans even care about the quality of play in our top leagues? Without fancy gimmicks, the football is pathetic. Even with a full quota of foreigners, we’re failing in Asia. The priority should always be improving the standard of the game and producing real quality player

I don't care if FSDL stays, ISL happens or not. Gimmick league without pro/rel can go to hell. #IndianFootball needs a sustainable organic league, not a money splash. Players got money, fame, love way too easily & lost zeal. They must earn it, through struggle, learn to fight.

Where is the statement of players on a defeat in Dhaka. Looks like they're busy worrying about their delay in overpaying salaries. These players should apologize to the fans. #IndianFootball

Yes, Indian football had investors and crores flowing in but were we investing in the right areas Look at Punjab FC forced to shift away from their own home, ending up spending ₹45 crore just to join ISL because of telecast demands Is this really the future we want for our clubs

If coach after coach keeps failing, at some point you have to admit the problem goes way deeper than the touchline. The cycle isn’t repeating by accident, the system is broken, and until that’s fixed, Indian football will stay stuck exactly where it is. #IndianFootball

The last league ended with a total of 11 injuries, including 4 dislocations and 2 fractures and that was an U13 league. This time, the same team in an U15 league. More sleepless nights at the hospital, more arguments with incompetent refs and corrupt organisers. Can't wait. Yay!

The Touchline | 𝐓 I dont know why to even bring population factor When system is main game In India you have corrupt people from State Football association to AIFF(National Federation) Youth get only 4 games per year And its better we dont talk about how horrible ISL & I league is.

Rahul Roy (@royzlife) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The Indian Football League (IFL) reimagines #IndianFootball future: A club-owned, AIFF-regulated, self-funded ecosystem & commercially viable, meritocratic & community-anchored. It’s time to shift from rent-seeking dependency to a transparent, sustainable football economy.

Skill alone is not enough, We need players with game iq, technique, positioning sense, fitness, right Mentality. We have talents but we don't know how to make them good footballers #indianfootball
