Today is the memorial of St. John Eudes. The Eudist order had an early presence in Indiana. They founded St. Gabriel's College in Vincennes in 1837. It was both a liberal arts college & a seminary, but it lasted only 3 years. One of their priests remained here; the others left.

Happy Birthday, Pauline Family! On August 20, 1914, Bl. James Alberione founded the Society of St. Paul, the first step in founding what would eventually become the Pauline Family. A family dedicated to giving Jesus to the world! 🎂😇🙏

Today we celebrate the memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven, also invoked as Queen of Peace. Let us fast and pray to implore the Lord for the gift of peace. Let us #PrayTogether that hearts may be freed from hatred, that we may move beyond the logic of division

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Patroness of the Sea Services, was the first American-born individual to be canonized by the Catholic Church. The Carters visited her shrine and tomb in Emmitsburg, MD on 7/6/78. You can still visit it today. #NationalMarylandDay #CartersAcrossAmerica
