On Monday, the Faculty of Biology of Universität Freiburg awarded an honorary doctorate to the 2017 Nobel Laureate Prof. Joachim Frank (Columbia University University) for his outstanding achievements in the field of cryoEM image processing to resolve protein structures from single particles.
