On track to surpass 50lbs of weight loss this year! 2024 will go down as the hardest health year for me personally. Without going into much detail, almost didn't make it through this year for a few reasons but I'm glad we are past that! Looking forward to a HEALTHY 2025!

Eine ehrliche Bilanz (und eine traurige Erkenntnis): Ich habe dieses Jahr 74 Lesungen vor fast 5000 Schüler*innen gehalten. Ich habe 541 Spendenbücher verteilt. Ich habe mir unzählige Geschichten angehört, Gespräche geführt und Tränen getröstet. Und darauf bin ich stolz. (1/4)

Aber ich merke auch, wie erschöpft ich bin. Seit zwei Jahren bin ich in Therapie. Ich leide infolge des Mobbings an einer komplexen posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung. Ich übertreibe also nicht, wenn ich sage: Jede Lesung ist auch eine Konfrontation mit meinen Traumata. (2/4)

Hier also die traurige Erkenntnis: Ich kann in diesem Tempo nicht weitermachen. Und nächstes Jahr stehe ich vor der schwierigen Aufgabe, die richtige Balance zu finden. Ich will weiterhin lesen! Aber ich muss auch auf mich Acht geben, damit ich langfristig gesund bleibe. (3/4)
