It would be hilarious if they showed some of the Zelda movie at the Playstation #StateOfPlay tomorrow (it's being distributed by Sony). (Also it's not like Nintendo are going to do anything for the Zelda 40th anniversary anyway)

Realistically, next 3D mainline Zelda is 2029. Next 3 years could be ports (Twilight Princess) and maybe an Ocarina remaster. Remake is too resource intensive, unless outsourced (Grezzo). Zelda movie is probably all we'll get for 2027. (Next Zelda credit Hyrule Gamer )
