For the provenance nerds out there, here's a fun counter-example: Koutouakis and Spink, both red flag names, show up in the impeccable provenance of the Getty's Mazarin Venus, which is documented back to 1850s, and perhaps 1510. h/t Judith Barr getty.edu/art/collection…
