Great news as Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe) signed an engineering services contract with a consortium between US-based companies Westinghouse Electric (Westinghouse Nuclear) & Bechtel (Bechtel Corporation) for the construction of #Poland’s first #nuclear power station.

Today (1 Oct) the EU landmark tool to fight carbon leakage #CBAM enters into application in its transitional phase. For now it will only apply to imports of selected goods (list below). EU importers will report volumes & GHG but w/o paying any financial adjustment at this stage.
