Past Madison Regatta President Jak McCormick’s ProLite class craft received damage when he hit a hole and hook, and then began to sink in turn 1. Thankfully, Jak is ok and is on the rescue boat as they work to tow in his boat.

Still in a delay as the cranes and diver teams work to get Jak McCormick's ProLite boat out of the water and back on its trailer. No word yet on updated heat times for the Unlimiteds.

Race officials are currently out in boats checking course conditions. Winds have picked up along the riverbank helping to cool fans on the shoreline, but also creating white caps on the water near turn 1.

Madison Regatta President Kyle Bipes shared over the PA that the Regatta has the water until 6:30pm EDT. Depending on timing, they may move straight to finals for the different classes. The Unlimiteds have priority when racing resumes.

Madison Regatta President Kyle Bipes shares that the GP Final will be skipped and the 4 boat H1 Unlimited Final will be ran ASAP with 4 laps. U9, U8, U91, U11 are the boats that will run.
