We had a fabulous time! 💕 caught one of our young attendees upstairs half an hour later, already up to chapter 7

“There’s no ‘should’ or ‘should not’ when it comes to having feelings. They’re part of who we are and their origins are beyond our control. When we can believe that, we may find it easier to make constructive choices about what to do with those feelings.”

I’m a co-founder of Fox Valley Pride and we are thrilled with how this event went! Kudos to the brave and well-spoken kids who contributed some much-needed suburban Chicago queer representation by giving interviews and allowing photos for this article. Thank you WBEZ! #pride

It’s finally here. “Cheers”, everyone! We’ve never put this much time and sweat and heart into a record before – we hope you like it as much as we do. Thanks for sticking with us for all these years, and thanks for listening. A toast…to you! JukeboxTheGhost.lnk.to/CheersAlbumTW

Convinced that at least half these people are naming “literary” books only because it was so hard to find time to read for fun in high school.

I’m confused about the Kamala’s race discourse. Her dad is a Black man from Jamaica and her mom is a South Asian woman from India. She’s biracial, both Black and Indian. Headlines saying either are correct. Obama is half Black and we call him Black. Where is the controversy here?

Looking down on what someone likes to read, especially a young person, is the fastest way to get them to dislike reading and dislike you.
