"With respect to environmental issues, we’re learning more about human health issues. And so there is a cost. And in the case of the Elk Valley, it’s significant.” bit.ly/3LG1hrE

The Telkwa Coal Mine will be submitting their environmental assessment application anytime now (was supposed to be submitted yesterday). This will kick off the 180 day review period which includes 45 days for public comment. We expect this public comment period to happen fast!

Telkwa Coal had 4 years to develop their mine application and now the public only has 8 days to sift through 300 technical documents before the public comment period opens on May 19th! and then only 45 days to comment. Take action here: bit.ly/3t4asLt
