The bulls are now with the cows and are back up onto there wintering ground and getting a break from daily moves. 4 bulls in this group. Noticing big improvements in this area each year. Cows have had 5 winters up here now. pic.x.com/wimwklu7sj

Busy week coming up with a Farmstrong Scotland strategy day then GO Falkland on Wednesday. Looking forward to being on one of the Pasture For Life panel sessions. Just goes to show if you say anything convincingly enough, folk might think you know what you are taking about!! ๐Ÿคฃ

Big water trough gets used mid summer when cow demand for water is higher. Still pulls the water supply pipe and the mineral bucket/tyre along with it.

Swallows very busy this morning catching bugs flying through the cows. Hard to see them but there are 100s of them. The 4 bulls time in here will come to an end tomorrow. 6 weeks over and out.

Bulls back in. Day late due to timings of field moves. As they were in 2 groups of a 3 and a 4 respectively it doesn't take very long to get their pecking order sorted out again. It's only 6 weeks ago they last met.

One for the #weedyreseed enthusiasts. Amazing the difference adding abit of barley in does to reduce the weeds. Clover and others also growing better in it. Challenge now to harvest the grain. Safe to say there won't be any straw to bale.

Last of the oats harvested last night. Eventually.. latest I've ever seen our oats cut. Another 1st is it the earliest we have ever started sowing next years crop. Early planting really worked last year so trying it again.
