#thankscancer Thank you to everyone 🫶🏼 Cautiously optimistic. MyChart & Google says I should be in the all clear🤭 There is 1 scan reading I need the oncologist to explain @ my appt next week 🤔 I’m hoping what I’m seeing means I’ll get approval for my port to get removed 🙏🏼

NGL this is the worse I’ve ever felt after a CT w/contrast. Cancer TMI: I don’t recall “tasting” the contrast (port picc) when you get that “warm” feeling during the scan. Legit felt hot as the contrast entered. Am I just a weirdo? Anyone else? Thanks Cancer!

I’m freezing cold rn (kids say the house is warm). What is going on? I’m having flashbacks from active treatment when I would be so cold and couldn’t warm up 😩 #thankscancer

#thankscancer RN confirms it’s more than likely a reaction to the contrast. Because there’s no fever they said ibuprofen for pain and low-dose Benadryl for everything else. They did ask for a photo of my port area. And if I get a fever to contact them immediately. 😩

I can’t catch a break. I thought the MyChart message was from my oncologist. Nope. My gyno to schedule an appointment because of my CT scan results. I can’t get a break 😭 I just need a moment to rest and there’s no relief in sight. #thankscancer

👇See original post. Worth the read. I had 5-FU via IV to stop colon cancer cells in the lymph nodes from spreading. I told the kids the treatment I got in the hospital kills all cells (good & bad) & what I came home w/ in the pump focused just on the bad cells. #thankscancer
