BCS will dismiss early tomorrow, 2/14/2024. Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:15 PM. Middle & High schools will dismiss at 1 PM to assist with transportation due to anticipated road closures. We stand Blount County Strong with the BCSO and lift them up during this time.

Save the Date! WBHS cordially invites veterans and families to attend our 2024 Veterans Day Program on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 10:15 am in the WBHS gymnasium. A hot buffet breakfast will be served at 9 am in the main campus library.

Over the next few days, we'll be highlighting Red Ribbon Week, which encourages teens to take a stand against drug use. Red Ribbon Week is next week, and students will be able to sign on a banner signifying their pledge.

WBHS 4H is collecting Hot Hands to donate to the Blount County Sheriff's Office through December 16!  You can bring these to any of our offices care of Lauren Boling or Mike Whitehead, and they'll make sure they are sent to our officers.

Both of our JROTC Leadership Academic Bowl Teams are advancing to Level II competition! Of over 900 AFJROTC teams that completed, 385 advanced to the next level and 2 were ours! Help us congratulate these cadets!
