55 years ago at Princeton University, the Association of Black Collegians campaigned to #divest of $127m in apartheid southern Africa the same way that #ColumbiaUniversity students are calling for divestment today. They got change then, and students will get it now. #UpendingtheIvoryTower

These are images of students who were arrested after taking over #HamiltonHall at Columbia University in 1968. They renamed it Malcolm X University and put up pics of Stokely Carmichael. Students today named it Hind's Hall and flew a Palestinian flag. Hoping for the safety of students.
