I met Dylan, a police officer, and his wife, a public school teacher. I consider them *both* first responders - because we’re in the middle of an educational achievement crisis that’s a 5-alarm fire in our country unless we do something to fix it.

I met a 27-year-old welder named Tyler tonight. He’s able to pursue the American Dream without requiring 4-year college debt to do it. We shouldn’t call these professions “the trades,” we should call them professions - because that’s what they are.

6 months from now, our memory for Biden should be the same as…Biden’s memory for most things. Time to start chasing the future instead of the rearview mirror.

My opponent pushed lockdowns on Ohio’s economy & public schools a few years ago. Now she claims she wants to make Ohio’s job & economic growth strategy “more transparent,” yet continues to say precisely nothing about what her economic policies actually are.

Our greatest impediment over the next half-century is the educational achievement crisis in America.

Chronic absenteeism is a major problem in Ohio since the disastrous Covid-19 public school closures (while private schools remained open). Those kids in our public schools will never get those 2 years back & Dr. Amy Acton owes them an apology.

People shouldn’t be surprised to hear this from Republicans: our best public school teachers deserve to be paid a LOT more than they are. We’re in the middle of an educational achievement crisis & teachers are our first responders. They should be able to live the full American

We’re short on baseload power & struggling to build new power plants. Yet strangely, we’re also shuttering coal plants & shifting that same coal utilization to China, all in the name of staving off “global climate change.” It’s utter insanity.
