A good game is a good game no matter how old. Although I do think some games age much better than others and are therefore more equipped to stand the test of time.

Yea, this is a bit of a misnomer though. Season 1 had a lot of eps but their was a time gap in releasing the 2nd half. If season 2 only has 10 episodes and their is no time delay, it almost equals out.

I think it's all based on the director of the project. For example in films certain director's are known for operating at a certain efficiency. I wouldn't take Chris Roberts and compare him to everybody. Ridley Scott and Guillermo del toro seem to be very efficient filmmakers.
