Along with JET Program USA alumni, Deputy Assistant Secretary Robert Koepcke welcomed a visit last Friday to the beautiful Portland Japanese Garden and Japan Institute in Portland to learn about their global exchange initiatives.
On Friday, Deputy Assistant Secretary Robert Koepcke and ITA U.S. Commercial Service Director Kellie Holloway Jarman heard from Greater Portland Inc, Business Oregon, @PortofPortland, City of Beaverton, and City of Hillsboro OR on Oregon’s strong international economic connections.
This past weekend Marcia S. Bernicat Bernicat celebrated 75 years of friendship between the United States and Indonesia during the WOW Indonesia! Festival in Washington, D.C. She was honored to participate and speak alongside her friend Menteri Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.
