This is why emergency financial aid for renters HAS to be fully funded. If there is any measure we can take to help our neighbors stay in their homes, we MUST do so. That is why we passed ULA in 2022, and it’s why we’re committed helping more people in 2024 and beyond

In LA County, too many people are still struggling to afford housing. In fact, we are 521,596 units short of the affordable housing we need to house families, veterans, students, teachers, and more.

Here is the truth. There are too many of our neighbors sleeping outside without access to lifesaving services like mental health care and housing. The good news is that this November, we can change that.
