We had our first COVID-19 patient admitted to our ITU ~12th March 2020. Today is World Hand Hygiene Day and the IPC Team has been out and about chatting to our colleagues at University Hospitals Birmingham about the importance of hand hygiene. It was great to speak to so many engaged staff, and even better to get so many nominations for Hand Hygiene Heroes on our wards!
