learning how to sew and embroider this year so i can adjust the sleeves or fix tears on my own clothes, rather than always pestering my mom or older sister to do it for me

started self learning japanese in addition to spanish, i’m gonna try to cover a consistent amount of material for both each week so i can be satisfied with the progress i’ve made by the end of the year 📚

had fun watching pacific rim the black, i like the focus on the sibling relationship and found family. the way they depicted the characters’ trauma during drift sequences was great, and i’m interested in seeing how they continue to expand on the films’ mythos

i recently read floriography, an illustrated guide to the victorian language of flowers, and it’s really interesting! the book explains what each flower symbolized in victorian culture and their origins, gives examples of bouquets and their meanings, and the artwork is beautiful

i’ve been receiving tasty japanese snacks from bokksu for months now but ngl, i was most looking forward to trying sakura themed snacks and it’s finally here 😭 and the box itself is really pretty 🌸

luofu missions where we get to fly cycranes really make me wish that we could get up that high with the playable characters. the shipping containers on cloudford actually look like a fun playground from above. also i’d love to run across the rooftops of belobog.

that bit on the herta space station with the teleporting toilet was hilarious. i’d love a similar mechanic on belobog, like diving into a dumpster teleports you onto a roof, allowing you to see the city from above. sometimes we run into sampo bc that’s how he gets around so fast
