There is a special Park Board meeting at 5 to discuss contract negotiations with the union. The Union will take a vote whether or not to continue the strike after Thursday if demands are not met.

The Park Board Union has announced it is continuing its strike past the original July 11 deadline.

There was a large encampment eviction at 31st and 35w today. Activists estimate around 80 people had been living at the encampment.
