This CECHA01 unfortunately came down with a yellow light of death. After disassembly and wiring up syscon it had error code 3034, which means it has a dead RSX. Fortunately I have a new 40nm for a Frankenstein mod.

90nm removed from the CECHA01 and PCB prepped for the new 40nm to go on. OBS sucks and didn’t actually capture the footage unfortunately.

Quick and easy fix on an ROG Ally with a nonfunctional volume down button due to ripped traces. Two .1mm jumper wires and some UV resin to hold everything in place and it’s back to full function ✌️

Micron D8CZW is not in mass production. Unfortunately 32GB of RAM on the OLED Steam Deck is not possible for the foreseeable future.

If you’re looking at modding your Legion GO to 32GB RAM avoid the aliexpress seller “Zhengkai Electronic Component Store” they send you damaged garbage chips like this that do not work! Another $150 down the drain to these scammers with no available recourse on my end.
