We are delighted to welcome Maire Kilgallen back to the Treehouse Practice team as administrator. After time off last year Maire is welcomed back with open arms. Maire is a mindfulness teacher and integrates this practice into team meetings.

Module 3 of the Professional Training course in Developmental Trauma starts this January 2025. This is about the impact of trauma on sensory systems and the importance of supporting co-regulation, rather than expecting the child to be able to independently manage regulation.

As part of the professional training course in Developmental Trauma, Treehouse Practice clinicians have developed a range of professional guides which are available to attendees.

Thank you to the Tesco Ireland Community Fund for presenting Treehouse with a cheque for €615 today. We met as a team and discussed therapies for neurodivergent children and their families. These therapies will be offered at a reduced cost in April with the help of these funds.

This week we are installing a children's library area in reception. Children who attend the practice will be invited to take a book home to keep. Books are a wonderful way to connect with our children & in some cases help them make sense of their feelings/experiences
