I get as excited about sea turtles as I do cemeteries! Spotted tracks this morning and then her nest. 😎 First pic is on my walk down the beach, the video is from my return walk after the turtle crew had fenced off the nest.

Today three sailors whose graves were lost for over a hundred years now have new Commonwealth War Graves headstone. They will be rededicated today in a short service at 11am at Barry Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery.

Patrick “Pat” Conroy wrote several acclaimed novels and memoirs. His books “The Water is Wide”, “The Lords of Discipline”, “The Prince of Tides”, and “The Great Santini” were made into films, the last two nominated for Oscars. Saint Helena Memorial Gardens, Beaufort, SC.

Fresh sea turtle tracks on the beach this morning! The local turtle crew confirmed the nest. They told me she crawled onto the beach (right tracks) and after laying her eggs, returned to the water (left tracks).

I’m so enamored with these sea turtles because they’re a very visible sign of life starting, a part of God’s creation that continues every year when the mamas lay their eggs I love cemeteries, but that’s the end of life. So it’s a different place in the journey. Fresh tracks…
